Childhood movies taught me the most important thing of all: parents aren’t always right and they don’t always know what’s best for you.
look how many notes this thing has
yeah guys but please don’t base your lives around fantasy movies
your parents may be old and traditional and stubborn but they are also wayyyyy smarter than you
i’m not saying they’re always right, but the things they say are probably worth considering.
Can I just say that I made this post and I never said that it was made to show that “parents are wrong” or “they always know better than you” because, yeah, I do actually take advice from my parents. They know so much and I actually do learn a lot from them. I’m not basing my life on animated movies.
That caption is just another user’s point of view on this, and it kind of upsets me to see people talking about how “North isn’t Jack’s father” or “Gothel isn’t Rapunzel’s real Mum” as if they’re personally attacking me for not knowing that, which I in fact do know.
I’m sorry if that sounded rude in any way, I just wanted to clear that up :)
